yankees game
My dad is making me go to a New York Yankee game next week when they are playing KC Royals. I HATE the Yankees and I love the Red Sox so I was wondering if I wore all Red Sox clothes to NYC and Yankee Stadium would I get shot? My dad said I probably will haha. Or is he just scaring me?

Boston and New York are relatively close to each other. The Red Sox have bandwagon fans all over the country (no offense). Red Sox fans in New York go to BoSox Yanks games. Don't you think if people were getting shot for wearing Red Sox attire you would know about it? He's just messing with you.

You could get shot, but it's not likely. However, people will give you dirty looks, say rude things, and may even bring physical harm upon you. I know if it was me I would make a rude comment. Yankees and Red Sox are HUGE rivals so it's never really a good idea to wear clothing of one of the team's to the other ones game. You really don't want to wear something supporting Red Sox. You won't apperciate how people treat you if you do.

DO NOT WEAR RED SOX CLOTHING! my dads friend saw someone get shot for that. dont. hes not trying to scare you he doesnt want you to get hurt. if you hate the yankees and you are going to the game and dont want to wear anything yankeeish. dont wear anything relating to baseball. wear normal clothes. hope it helps.

NYY and BRS are VERY MUCH rivals. If you were to wear Red Sox clothing/accessories to a NYY game, the chances of you getting dirty looks, rude comments & other things are extremely high. A person from NY went to Boston & got beat up the day the Red Sox won the world series. So, I would definitely not suggest it.
Just because you dislike the Yankees doesn't give you the right to be an ass & bring danger upon yourself.

Same way here in Chicago! Cubs vs Sox = biggest rivalry ever. Well, I once went to a Cubs game with my school, and a few of my guy friends and I dressed up in all Diamondbacks (the team the Cubs were playing). Oh man did we get dirty looks. Lol. But we're all still alive.
So if you want to go Anti-Yankees, wear some KC Royals stuff instead. This way, you're not supporting the Yankees, but you're not supporting a totally different team. Cause if you wore Red Sox, it might be odd to have on a team that isn't even playing that day. So like I said, Royals stuff's would be the way to go.
