breaking out

Question Posted Wednesday July 25 2007, 2:06 pm

So it's summer which means for sports I sweat and break out more. Wondering if there is any really good working creme or face masks that work to elminate the break outs.

Keep your face clean. Take a shower right after you get home from sports or exercising. Some people below me already said proactiv, but I'm going to say it again. If you get proactiv, this face mask comes with it. You put it on your zits at night and wash off in the morning, it takes them away immediately. Use the rest of the proactiv to wash your face. Don't use it too much, it's very drying and I had to stop using it for a couple days because my face got really dry.

Good luck!

i know how you feel. that used to happen to me all the time! but all you need to do (like everyone else suggested) is wash your face a lot! and especially after you get home from practice. you can even keep face pads in your bag or whatever you bring to your sport. get a face wash from target or a drugstore if you cant get proactive, like clearasil ultra or clean&clear. they work great! also, whenever you can, just splash some water on your face because you're pores do get clogged during the day and you shouldn't use too much product on your face. hope this helps!

I play softball so I understand your condition
completely. It sucks, doesnt it. But lucky for
me, I know how to help.
Now, I cant tell you exactly how to be PREVENT
the breakouts but i can tell you how to get ride
of the zits. As soon as you get home, make sure
you use a good acne soap. For example, proactiv
is great. If you use it 2 times a day, continuously, you'll see the results after a
breakout! If that doesnt work, before you
put the proactic ( or ACNEfree ) on, wash your
face with just water. Water can wash out the
oils on your face and help clean along w/ the
acne fighter. Hope i helped (: *

If you're looking for acne products, I definitely recommend Proactive. It works wonders. Use that once you're done doing that was making you sweat. It'll keep your pores cleaner, obviously.

However, BE CAREFUL >> Don't use it more than twice a day, you don't want your skin to dry out!

Stridex makes pads with medicine on them. I heard they work well. Keep some in your gym bag, or whatever you bring, and just wipe your face after the sport:]
