im about to start high school soon. any tips on boys, school, friends, anything about school??

uhm the person under me ROSE is very rude. Its perfectly fine to be nervous=] Boys will always be boys so dont let them get to you there not worth it. You can just be nice and be yourself and I can almost guarentee at leasst one guy will love you. Do your homework before hanging because if you don't your going to fall behind.Do what YOU WANNA DO not what anyone else wants you to do.*its nice to be important but its more important to be nice*any more tips just ask.hope i helped=]

It isn't a big deal...I don't know why anyone makes it a big deal. It's a school that you will have more homework and more teachers. Boys are boys...you can't change them or anything. School depends on the school...there are schools with drugatics, a bunch of sluts and perverted men, and crazy teachers. My school...they were allow it.

And don't hang out with the kids who cut themselves.
High school should be a breeze.

Be yourself, don't change yourself to make a guy like you. Spend time with friends every chance you get, and don't be afraid of making new ones. Don't be pressured to do anything you don't want to do- drugs, drinking, sex, etc. The pressure is there, but it's easier to say no than you might think.
School is different than middle school. You're not chased for every missing assignment. You don't pass something in, you get the zero. Homework, at least for me, wasn't as bad as some kids make it out to be. Some days, yeah you'll get swamped. Just DO it and you're done. Big assignments don't have to be tackled they day they're assigned, but don't start the day before it's due either. If the school doesn't give you an agenda, get one. It's easier to remember all your assignments if they're in the same place every day.
Lastly, the upperclassmen don't bite.. much. No, really, most of them will leave you alone and not even acknowledge your existence. Crowd their hallways or steal their boyfriends, they'll psuh you around and get even. Don't do anything to them, and they won't do anything to you. I'm a sophomore now, and freshmen year was a blast. Just enjoy yourself; it's over before you know it & it's a great learning experience.

well first off im going to be a senior this year and all i can say is your going to LOVE highschool! it's so much fun. just dont be really cocky, but also dont let the upper classmen boss you around either. try and get into clubs, or fun things that are going on in school for instance basketball games and such because if you dont you'll look back and regret it. keep your friends close, and try not to backstab anybody because karmas a bitch. dont try to look older than you are with revealing clothing and loads and loads of make-up...its not attractive at all and many highschool guys dont like girls that are fake. try not to be teachers pet or a suck up, but dont be mouthy and cocky either. well i hope i helped!

don't try to hard and just be yourself. if you wanna make lots of new friends join sports teams. football games are fun but dont act all like you know all the upperclassmen when you don't. show teachers you care about your grades by staying after every once in a while. everyone will start to drink and stuff so be sure you are ready for the peer pressure... and if you do decide to drink or do drugs make sure not to talk about it all the time or pressure anyone else into it or you could lose a lot of friends. don't wear really revealing clothing as everyone will look down on you.... hope this helps (i'm a junior this year so i've been through it all)
