It will damage it a little , but you can treat it.
Or grow it out all the way so that you can cut it making it all healthy ]
coloring your hair will damage it. Depening on the brand and the color depends on how much. For example bleaching to get blonde ... KILLER! professional color is much better than box color. if you go to a salon you can get semi or demi permanent and that it not very damaging andit will fade out to the color you have underneath completly. No nasty fading. it fades in like a month or two and it fades naturally. Thats just a professional-in-training's opinion :D ]
both of the suggetions already are what i would have said and hair color can be harmful on your hair depending on if you know what you're doing and if you are using the right products. There are products less harmful and non-permanent. There are also shampoos that can enhance your color and even add color over time. If you do dye your hair, make sure you get shampoo and conditioner or other products made for colored hair that will keep it hydrated and looking natural. ]
It can because it is so strong. I use Herbal Essences Natural Instincts, and it doesnt have ammonia, which is really bad for your hair. They have the ones that arent permanent, and I use them:].
If you dont want that one, try to find another one without ammonia.
Hope I helped. ]
any chemicals you use on your hair will make your hair weaker.
if you want to just lighten the colour of your hair, you can try Sun In (i'm not sure if i spelt it right)..but you can this to lighten your hair...it comes with instructions, just see if they have this hair lightning product. It is permanent but eventually as your hair grows it will move downer and your natural hair colour will start to show.
just to be on the safe side, talk to people at your local salon. ]
