highschool purse/tote
On my first day of highschool I'm probly just gonna bring folder, notebook, pen & pencil, but I need a purse or small bad type thing to carry around. Do girls carry purses or bags arround? I want to, but if no one else does than i dont want to. Also, what kind of purse or bag should I bring on the 1st day? I have a big coach purse and I also have a small pink tote.

have you ever seen those cloth carrying bags? they are the best for carrying around for school. they dont rip and they are more practical than bringingan actual purse to school. especially a coach purse. it could get ruined or tossed around in school so dont use it for that. if you go to target they have the kind of bags im talking about. they come in handy very much. oh and if you want a really nice one go to pac-sun.

Most people I know had bags just like that because they carry folders & notebooks. And you can include a little extra change purse type thing to hold lipgloss, money, etc.
So I'd go with the small pink tote.
Or you can carry your books and stuff seperate, but carry your purse as well, with your pencils and pens in it. I knew people who did this as well. It's pretty much a mixture at my school.
But it really dosen't matter what everyone else is doing, just do what makes you comfortable! =]

usually i carry a big purse or tote with me because you can stick all of your personal stuff in there along with pens and some small books and stuff. on the first day i usually bring a big purse because teachers give you papers and stuff with their expectations on it to carry and then i usually bring a notebook and stick the papers all in there. you dont really need a folder and you really only need a pen or pencil on the first day (i usually say pen because teachers might want you to sign stuff in it). if you have it drawstring bags are also nice to carry but I always have a purse sometimes big sometimes small but yeah
big bags are great especially on rainy/snowly days

start a new fashion at your school if no one else does- this year I brought this really puffy Guess Jackett and it had fake fur lining on the hood-no one had ever wore a jacket like it before they usually work really thin jackets or sweaters so the first week a wore it all the girls that didnt like me were spreading rumors that it was ugly I continued to wear it and by the second week all the girls who hated my gutts(a good 30) all had a jackett like it I had to stop wearing it cause the guys started to ask to wear it so they can seem cool in front of the girls- even if no one wears a purse still take one ( Im pretty sure they do though all my friends do)
