Getting over a guy can be hard, but it's important that you understand that feelings come and go. Plus, I think in your case you might have a slight advantage. You said that he's been acting like a jerk to you and about you. To me that shows a very bad character flaw. You deserve somebody better than that. If you can believe that you deserve better, I think you'll start missing him less as time goes on. Eventually, it'll get easier to not involve youself with him, and you'll be over him completely.

He apparently isn't a perfect guy if he really doesn't want to talk to you. You can't make someone like you, or miss you. It's all in his own feelings, maybe he has a girlfriend and he just didn't tell you. Go searching for a boyfriend, that is the best way to get over a guy is to find a new one. If you find a guy that you really like this long distance guy will never really cross your mind anymore.
