why do girls like emo boys?

Question Posted Thursday July 19 2007, 1:09 pm

in youtube there are tons of comments on girls that love emo boys because of their side parted hair, makeup, tight girl jeans and stuff.I was wondering why is that so? i mean i understand the hair maybe, but why do girls go for guys that look like.....girls? with their makeup and tight jeans? don't girls like macho man who wear boyish stuff? please clear my confusion thanks.

p.s:besides the above, comment on what else you like about emo kids.

Hey, everyone has different tastes. Just as all boys do. Freshmen year, I used to like an "emo" boy[when I was originally into the gangstas],and he was actually a really cool/nice guy! And he wasn't a pussy either. Stereotypes are stereotypes. It's different when you actually, oh I don't know, GET TO KNOW THE PERSON. Just a thought..

hmm, i don't really go for the "emo" type guys. my sister once dated somebody who called himself emo. i'm not saying this about the entire emo population, or whatever, but when she broke up with him he crawled into the back of her car (now my car) and curled up into the fetal position and started crying. she was running late, and they were in a parking lot, so she had to pop open the back of her car, lift him out, and she set him down in the parking lot. then she drove off. i don't understand what part of that is attractive to people. honestly. i mean, now i can't think of anything other than emo boys when i put stuff in the back of my car. long story short? emo boys are sensitive. some girls go for sensitive. but i would rather not have people curling up in the fetal position in the back of my car.

well you see here little girl.
Im sorry but why do you keep saying "emo" You dont even know the person okay? i mean. seriously what if i started calling you "prep" or "skater" or whatever. how would you feel? i mean come on now. People should be able too dress like they want too. and btw. They like the way they are sensitive. or how they talk. Okay? Not by there looks. Fyi there not emo.

ew ok they must be joking on youtube. Dating a guy that wears makeup, or tight jeans..THATS DISGUSTING. I want a boy who's preppy, and who isn't like gay or something. The only thing i like about emo kids are they're not affraid to do that kind of stuff..hahaha.
well anyway hope i helped!

Hm I'm not quite sure myself but hey everyone has a different taste. I'm an emo boy myself (without the make up and tight jeans) and i have noticed that I've been getting A LOT of glances from normal girls. It might be that since we are emo, emotionally hardcore, girls might go for a guy who would always understand them and are always there for them and listen to their problems since we emos know what true pain is. ^_^ !,,! hope I helped.

Everyone has their own taste in the opposite sex (or same or w/e)..but I personally find that an emo boy is a turn off! I want someone who dresses preppy, but if their pants are tighter than mine and they are wearing make up, I would not be into that at all. I want a man, not a boy dressed in girl's clothing who is trying to be prettier than me. Yuck.

hey i LOVE the macho guys. if i wanted to date someone who looked like a girl, then i would date a girl but im not a lesbian. i don't want a guy that's going to put on my skinny jeans and think they look good. i dont know what's wrong with those girls but i want a manly man who watches football and can protect me not a girly man.
hope i helped

Idk, some girls just like that sorta thing. Not all girls do, even if it seems like it. All of my friends go for preppy, 'macho' guys. It probably just seems like they all want 'emo' guys. Kinda like a lot of girls think that guys go for the skinny blonde hair blue eyes cheerleaders. But they all don't.

I'm totally with you dude. I have NO idea why anyone would fancy an emo kid. I'm 22, have never been emo and had plenty of pussy ;) so don't bother turning tothe dark side to get chicks - let them go cut thier wrists together :P
