It's a shame that your parents aren't around more. But see if there are some ways that you can connect more. Tell them you would like to spend some more time with them.
Also, get out of the house more, make some new friends. You WILL get depressed sitting in the house by yourself all day. And tv or a computer is not a substitute for a real human being.
Join a club that you are interested in, try a sport, find some new hobbies, but most importantly, be around people more. Humans by nature are social people. We are not meant to site at home watching tv or on computers all day. [ rubytuesday's advice column | Ask rubytuesday A Question ]

Like clean out your closet and organize everything by color and length of pant and length of sleeve, what's for winter fall and summer, put your shoes in order by color and style.
