"I LOVE YOUU"

Question Posted Thursday July 12 2007, 5:51 pm

My boyfriendsgonna say the three big wordss to me!
I'm pretty sure that I love him, but what are some things that you could say back? Like if he says "I love you," and then I say "I love you too" he'd think I was just saying that cuz he did.

Or what if someone said I love you and you didn't love them back what would you say in that situation!?

You can answer only one if you don't feel like doing both I won't rate down =]

well i dont have experience with not saying anything back, so sorry. but with the saying i love you back... i think a really cute and simple way to do it is for him to say it and then u give him a litte kiss and smile and say "i love you". just like he did. my boyfriend did this to me and i melted. its simple but soo cute.

I think "I love you, too" is the appropriate response here. I mean, you kind of ARE saying it because he did. You're showing him you feel the same way. But you should only say it if you really mean it. Too often, people say those three words but don't mean them. I'm not saying you're one of these people because I don't know how you honestly feel deep down inside, but I'd only say it if you mean it.
As for if someone said it and you didn't feel the same way. That would be really awkward. Just kind of smile at him, and try to wait for him to change the subject I guess? I hope you're never in this situation.

If someone tells you that they love you, and you love them back, you can get all cute and go, "Really? How much?" And when they tell you, you can like, grin and go, "Good, cause I love you too."

If someone loves you and you don't love them back, you just smile and say thanks and how sweet that is of them.

Well if you love him back you could say like:
"I love you too. I'm so happy to be with you."

But don't say I love you if you don't love him, cause in the end if he finds out you don't, he'll just be really hurt.

If you didn't love him, I'd say something like:
"Aww *hugs* I really like you, but I think I just need to be with you more to love you"

Just be honest I guess.
I don't know. That one is tough. I guess if I didn't love im I wouldn't be with him.
