buying a cellphone im 14, and i want to buy my own cellphone and i have the money for everything; cellphone, plan, etc
however my parents are very strongly against cellphones and although they will drive me to the verizon store to buy a cellphone, they refuse to sign anything
will everything be okay or will i need their signatures for anything there?

You need their signatures.
You can always ask a relative to sign for you.
Or get a prepaid phone. ]
If I were you, I would get a prepaid. They're just as good with no contacts. If you don't like the service at Verizon you can, say, get T Mobile or Cingular. Pre paids I think are sometimes better anyways since you don't have that contract and control your bill in a sense.
The only thing you really pay for is the cell phone, and your minutes.
Hope this helps you. ]
Technically since you are not 18 you cannot get a cell phone plan without a parent.
However you can get a pre-paid plan which you could inquire the verizon people about. I've never had a pre-paid plan so I couldn't tell you anything about it. ]
You need an adult to start any kind of contract. They are the ones who need to sign for you so that the company knows that the bills will be paid every month. It does not need to be your parents, just a guardian over the age of 18. For more information, either go to a verizon store or check the website.
