Beilve it or not...This exact same thing happened to me. What i think you hae to do is try to ask your friend whats wrong. Why she has a problem with you. If that doesn't work get another one of your friends to ask. Otherwise maybe shes jelous? But what it comes down to:
(know this may not be the way to go for you)
Figure out witch is more important.
Now if she is angry at you beacause you told her to cheer and shes really bad at it. Then you have to tell her you didn't know and that you are sorry and if she still doesn't forgive you give it a little while and she'll come around. Trust me. Thats the way mine went down...

Goodness! When cheering forget about her. If you like to cheer, go ahead and cheer. Don't let anyone stop you from doing something you like.

last year,[8th grade] was my first year of cheer(and last) but anyway, you really need to focus on cheer and work as hard as you can and just ignore that girl. if it gets completely unbearable, talk to your coach and ask him not to put you two together on stunts. hope i helped!

Every [girl's most likely] sport team deals with this within itself at one point. Whatever you do, don't let the drama get between how well you do. Don't lose focus. Ssve the drama for home is what my coach says. And she's right. Drama can get in the way. You have to understand is that not everyone on your team is going to like you. Trust me, on my team I know there are girls that don't like me. I'm okay with that because I don't care. There are other girls on the team that I can hang out with. If your friend is really giving you this much trouble, just leave her alone, give her time to cool off, and hang out with other girls that you like or get along with. When your friend finally vents it all out, she'll stop acting like that.

So yeah, just stay focused on your cheer, and until it blows over, chill with other girls.

Hey. Wow reading this brings me back to last year on my cheerleading squad. Take my advice, it's from personal experience, JUST FOCUS ON CHEER! Last year my squad consisted of girls from all different cliques and we all fought like crazy. Our coaches were always telling us to keep anything unrelated to cheerleading practice out of cheerleading practice. I wouldn't worry about it. I'm sure things between you and this other girl will work out. Believe it or not, sometimes being on a team and working for a common goal will bring you closer. It sounds weird but I know this for a fact. Good luck with cheer its tons of fun! ♥ fabulous
