running out of things to talk about

Question Posted Tuesday July 10 2007, 11:47 am

me and my boyfriend have been together for almost a month now, and things are great between us. but we tend to have awkward silences whenever we talk on the phone, and it's really annoying. it also makes me feel bad because it seems like he's bored when we're not talking. what are things i can talk to him about? we talk about basically everything, but i need specific things i can talk to him about.

thanks.

i know how you feel hahah
but ne ways just talk about..
hmm like your problems you know with your family or w/e guys like when you tell them your personal problems it makes them feel comfortable. or talk about music that you like and songs.
or talk about this sounds reallly really lame but about your future (like what you want to do for a living, and like your plans..its a good conversation starter.)
if you need anymore just email me.
hope this helpedd

well, since i personally don't know the guy, i can't tell you WHAT to specifically talk about, but here's what i do:
-ask him lots of questions. i mean, relevant to the subject, but just questions are always good! they keep guys talking, because most of them will generally not strike up completly random conversations.
-be random. if you think of something that will make him talk, say it. or if you did something cool that day, let him know.
-heart to hearts are always good. if you need help, ask him! he'll be there, adn it will keep you two talking.
-if he seems bothered, ask him if he needs to talk, and tell him you're there for him.
-play music in the back of the phone, that will strike up conversation. either that, or play a movie. an interesting one :P

hope this has helped at all!

xoxo

Well it depends on what he's into. Talk to him about maybe sports or, something you and him both watched on television or something. Also if you and him are at school, talk to him about that. Ask him how his day was, etc. Find out things that you and him can both relate to, or something you both like.

Hope I helped :)
