Attractive elsewhere?
I don't think I'm beautiful back home. Maybe pretty sometimes.. but not pretty enough to get compliments or stares from guys. that's saved for the real beauties.
But i'm on vacation right now, a few states away from home.. and apparently guys were staring and showing off for me. some tried talking to me too
but i dont understand.
is it just... a new place... different preference?
because it's all weird.. guys back home.. don't notice me [i'm from cali]

same things going on with me and im from cali but right now im in texas i think guys dont notice us okay looking girls cuz they expct so much considering were we are from but guys from other places be looking for something different u get it? if you dont i will be happy to explain hope this helps y-vet

Please I've noticed that too, since I live in NY. A lot of guys in other places will stare, but back home it's like "what's wrong with me?" Since no one there looks at you.
I think half the time, guys can be superficial when they're from states like NY, or Cali. There's a ton of gorgeous guys and girls, and it's always like you can be beautiful but they won't look your way if there's someone they consider "beautiful".
Honestly I think it's different preference in the state away from your home, and that the guys where you are (not at home) aren't as superficial as some of the guys in Cali.
I'm sure you're gorgeous, and I know what you're going through. It's the place, not you. In time things will change. You'll notice more guys staring at you where you live in Cali as time goes on. Some guys break the mold of being superficial.

For a fact, guys are weird. It's known, and it's questioned. The way they think when it comes to girls is super weird as well, and it's hard to figure them out.
I'm gonna think of it this way: The guys where you live know you, and they either don't see you that way, OR they don't know how to tell you that they like you, so they don't -- which ultimately leaves you with the impression that you're not attractive.
However, I'm sure you are. The reason the guys where you are are so gkfhgkfOMG over you is because they've never seen someone like you before. They've got all those girls around them, but then they see someone new & it's like paradise for them. It could just be because they're weird or bored. But I'm pretty sure that you're beautiful wherever you go.
Don't worry about this so much though. Guys aren't everything. If a guy doesn't like you, his loss. You're still pretty & you'll find someone eventually.

How many girls are there in cali? A LOT! So the chances of you meeting a really cute guy who isn't already interested in another girl is very slim. I mean california hollywood? Have you seen laguna beach? Ya that's your competition. In another state the chances aren't so slim.Plus the guys could probably already know you too well and think of you as a friend. Hope I helped
