Question Posted Wednesday July 4 2007, 4:05 pm

when is the best time to apply for a job? like at the usual places teens work: fast food stores, ice cream stores, mall, etc.

before the summer is one time, right? b/c the almost-college grads will have free time and also during the school year in the fall? b/c they go back to college?

I would say either before summer, maybe april-may, and august-september. College students will be going off to college & most quit their jobs. Also, places might need extra help & may hire you for the school year. You should still apply whenever you can though. You never know when stores might want to hire extra employees.

-hope that helped!♥
