Your question is very general & since there's so many different types of music genres, I'd suggest Pandora.

My boyfriend found it awhile ago & he uses it all the time. What you do is there's different "stations". Pick a band you like & type it in. Pandora generates a list of songs similar to that band & allows you to listen to every song, the full song, for free.
Since you're looking for a certain message in a song, I would suggest picking a song you already know that has to deal with not being friends anymore & type that into Pandora. Songs will come up similar to that song you type in. Try google for ideas.

the only one that was mearly close was umberella by rihanna. It talks about how she will always be a friend to this person and she took an oath and she will stick it out forever. and stuff like that.
