why do people like to do this?
why do people like to have unprotected sex when they're not trying to get pregnant?? does it feel better...or give you more pleasure doing it without a condom???

I believe that it does feel a little nicer without a condom. However, some people are just uneducated and think they can just "pull out" [that is only like 30-40% effective I think]. Also, drugs and alcohol DEFINITELY mess with your judgment with those kind of decisions. Some people are just in the heat of the moment and forget. I myself have it engraved in my brain to use a condom, even though I'm also on birth control.

I think it is lack of education, or "act now, think later." I think it is more the latter, or else we wouldn't see so many "could I be pregnant" questions on here. Then again, that falls under the lack of education department.

well i dont think people do it because there lazy.. it feels a lot better without the condom but there are risk, and sometimes the pull out method doesnt work and other times it does, but its usually just because it feels better without the condom.

People sometimes have unprotected sex because they're too lazy, but I think more often it's because of one of the following factors:
1) Alcohol/substances - can mess with your judgment
2) Lack of planning - they didn't bring a condom or weren't on the pill because they didn't know tonight would be "the night"
3) desire to avoid being thought of as slutty - they don't want to carry contraception in case their intended partner got the idea that they had sex often (in a new relationship)
4) denial or being naive - feeling that nothing will happen to them or believing correctly or incorrectly that their partner is disease-free
5) misconceptions - some people think a person cannot get pregnant with her first intercourse experience (not true)
6) religious restrictions on contraception
7) passion - in the heat of things they're too embarassed or don't want to interrupt the passion to get birth control
Yes, the feeling of sexual intercourse is more pleasant without a condom (no different with a diaphragm, sponge, IUD, birth control pill, etc.), and I think that's one reason men want to have sex without condoms. Most women don't mind them - it's just the men who seem to complain that sensation is diminished.

I think most people are just lazy. They don't think about the consequences of having unprotected sex. Its really horrible. They think that using contraceptives [condoms, birth control] takes too much time. I don't think its a "pleasure" thing- although I may be mistaken. I haven't had sex yet. I'm a virgin- and I'm proud.
