so i heard that lemon juice + a blowdryer = highlights... but i thought it was the light from the sun that highlighted your hair, not the heat? so would a blowdryer work?

Now iu agree with the person below me...dont use sun in! it will screw up your hair so bad. I am a student in beauty school and our teachers told us if they use sun-in, we can not do anything chemical to their hair (color, perm, or chemically straightening) without the risk of their hair burning or falling out. So if you are interested in coloring or perming your hair in the future, DONT USE SUN IN. if you want highlights, the best way is to go to a salon. The easiest and best way to get highlights is to pay for them and get them dont professionally. trust me...your hair will thank you :D [ Juelz0587's advice column | Ask Juelz0587 A Question ]
advicer answered Tuesday July 3 2007, 8:53 pm: Yeah. They both work. The sun probably has the best results, but a blowdryer still works fine. I don't recommend sun-in, though. I tried it and it turned my hair orange. [ advicer's advice column | Ask advicer A Question ]
