I am a 13 year old girl who is 150 pounds and 5'7. I know I am of normal weight, but I have a stomach I would like to get rid of. I'm trying to lose 15 pounds and I heard not eating bread rice and pasta will help you loose belly fat? Is that true? What foods can help you loose belly fat? What exercizes can I do *besides crunches* to lose my muffin top? How long and often should I do these exercises
Do cardio to burn fat up. Walking or jogging on a treadmill or in the street will definitely help you lose weight. The cardio will make a difference greatly.
Well crunches on a stability ball will help. Self magazine has a lot of different exercises you can do to do it.
I'd do the cardio first to burn fat first, then start doing crunches and ab workouts. Start doing them now, and continue them for basically months. Do the workouts 3-5 times a week.
OhMyPEACHYKEEN answered Tuesday July 3 2007, 7:03 pm: Definitely exercise. Crunches definitely. You should try stretching and doesnt matter what part of your body. Its simple. I would say instead of timing yourself on the crunches set yourself a number that you think you can do in a day. Wether it be all at once or at seperate times. I reccomend breaking up that number like 500, then you do 100 every 3 hrs. for example. Then you'll have 8hrs to do those 500. Set something up like that. Eat healthy. and Lightly. Instead of 3 meals have 6 but make them light meals. I'm eating lightly right now and its made a difference. Have cottage cheese. You can have it with fruit, as a dip, in a sandich, you can do many things with it. Tuna is healthy too. I eat half tuna and half cottage cheese sandwiches. All you can taste is the tuna. And if you dont like tuna (which I dont) juss suck it up cause its worth it. Ne more questions just ask me. -peachy [ OhMyPEACHYKEEN's advice column | Ask OhMyPEACHYKEEN A Question ]
katiekat answered Tuesday July 3 2007, 6:02 pm: well theres not really much you can do besides crunches. try doing them with your legs up in the air or on a chair or something and doing them side to side. it helps with fat on your sides and your abs. do some cardio like running and stairs. and if you stop eating all the bread and stuff it will help because theyre all carbs and no nutrition. but you have to excersize. not eating them wont make fat magically dissapear.
good luck! [ katiekat's advice column | Ask katiekat A Question ]
