Straightnerr.

Question Posted Monday July 2 2007, 9:56 pm

Alright, well I know hair straightners damage your hair. But I was reading a magazine once and it said that Jennifer Aniston uses some straightner, barbar? Or something along those lines, and it said something about how the plates actually moisturize your hair?

Anyone have any input to this?
Or know any other hair straigthners that would give postive effects to your hair, other than negative?

Anything is much appreciated! =)!

there arnt any straiteners that dont damage your hairs moisture, but i would recomend Pureology Glossing Mist:

it works sooo good, all you have to do is spray it before you straiten your hair, it keeps the moisture, and makes it shiny. (it also de-frizzes)
Its kinda expensive, but youll love it, and it smells really good and lasts long...

Features a digital temperature display. Use on wet or dry hair for fast, beautiful results. 180 watts. 1 1/2" with 9' swivel cord.

I think I know what you're talking about. My friend had a straightener sort of like this. It uses water or something, and keep your hair from drying out/the heat. I think that Chi's are also another brand of straighteners that protect your hair from getting completely destroyed, but I'm not POSITIVE. They're a bit more pricier than your average straightener, though.

To be honest, I've never heard anything about the straightner. The only think I know to "protect" your hair is to use the actual sparay before you straighten you hair. The bottles are available at any drugstore.

i did some research for you, and there is a hair straightner called "barbar". I don't think it exactly puts moisture into your hair put it does seal moisture in.
