It's just that we burn calories 10x faster than a person with a lower metabolism would.. Which is really good!!
But sad as it's said, as we get older our metabolism slows down.. So we need to watch what we eat, but not that wise! Just eat a serving of veggies every day.. about 3 servings!
EriksBallerina answered Sunday July 1 2007, 10:20 pm: your metabolism means how fast your body burns calories. You have a high one, because you can eat whatever you want to and your body just automatically burns it so it doesn't have a chance to be stored as fat. LUCKY YOU!
I have a very slow metabolism, and that is what causes me to be overweight. I eat right and exercise more than most people, but I can't help it that my metabolism is so slow.
