Make-Up Questions
Hey, I'm 14/F and I'm Asian. I want to look good when school starts so I want to begin with a new style kind of. Something refreshed!
I do put on make-up but not a lot. I have small slitty eyes an on the eye lid (it's very small), I put some dark colored eye shadow and my friends love it. It's simple. However, I want something a little different. Something that will make me look a litlte older. Also, get me ready for the homecoming.
I once in a while put mascara but it never turns out good. I have small lashes and no one can hardly see it! I'm too naive to put on eye liner. What do I really do? Also, what kind of color blush should I put on or should I not use it? Lipstick color? Thanks for all the help!

Hey, well as for directions of applying makeup, with me, your out of luck. I cant stand explaining that full out to people. However, ill recommend great brands.
Mascara = definately maybelline intense xxl.
Tips: you use the white side first, than the black.
Eyeliner = any type of maybelline eyeliner works.
Tips: try getting a waterproof one, so when you tear, it doesnt come off as easily. Line the outside of your top lids and the inside of your bottom lids.
Coverup = any of the maybelline ones in the tube/stick.
Tips: the tube/stick looks like a lipgloss tube. Its less noticeable than deadon foundation. Take a wet q-tip and go along your eyebrows so the coverup doesnt hide the real color of your eyebrows and also so they match your hair.
Bronser(sp?) = i use the bronser(sp?) from the place where i get my eyebrows done. Thats at this place called elizabeth grady.
Tips: see if theres one near you. [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) also bronser(sp?) replaces the need for blush.
Lipgloss = definately a light pink shade from the miliani collection.
Tip: this replaces the need for lipstick.

I understand totally what you mean with the eyeliner...eyeliner is supposed to make our eyes look smaller and you have made it clear that you dont want to make them look any smaller...I suggest a volumizing mascara to bring out your eyelashes...and if it does'nt work...you may want to try fake eyelashes, not like massive ones but ones to make them look a little bigger...and since it's homecoming i'm sure that plenty of other girls will be wearing them...Hope this helped! just experiment with other colors.. you might like it.
small lashes? you need to look for a certain kind of mascara then. it should say for volume or lengthening.

just don't go overboard with the makeup. less is a lot better. so maybe you don't really need blush unless you're a bit pale, you know? if you wear foundation.

Don't wear lipstick, that's for like 40 year olds. Try some eyeliner, that you can just like twist, those are best. You should get like a dark blue. Eyeliner's easy to put on once you know how, so you should go buy some cheap one from like Rite-Aid and practice. Umm. Maybe try another hair style... I think eyeliner always looks the best... But tha'ts just me. Try the eyeliner with some light eyeshadow maybe? Put a little bit of blush. Pink. I hope I was of some help.
