Chances are people aren't going to even remember your wardrobe choice so go easy on it. Plain colors always work well like white or peach or some innocent color. Don't wear black. I'm pretty sure you'll be the only at the wedding wearing black if you do, and it'll draw a lot of attention to yourself. You can always go to papaya or something like that and get some simple clothes, and it might only add up to $20. Or go to a friend's closet and ask to borrow some clothes of hers and match it up with any of your clothes. [ amasparks's advice column | Ask amasparks A Question ]

Or if you don't want to wear a dress, you can wear dress pants and a nice shirt.
Borrow from friends/family if you can't buy a new outfit for the occasion.
There's nothing wrong with it :]
