Hair Color

Question Posted Wednesday June 27 2007, 1:08 am

Ok, so my current hair color is medium/lighter brown. And I really want to go blonde (I hate my hair color).

I like Platinum blonde a lot, but don't want to look bad.

Also, I love Gisele Bundchen's hair color, but don't know how to get it.

Can someone please tell me what color's better, and how to get Gisele's color by doing it myself.(Like, what color's to use, and what color her hair would be classified as). Thanks a whole lot!! :]

I like Gisele's way better. It looks more natural. I would go to the salon, because they wont mess it up as bad as if you try to do it. They are used to doing it, so they have more experience. Good luck, and I am sure it will look great!

If you just want an opinion, Gisele Bundchen's hair definitely looks better to me, because it looks a WHOLE bunch more natural.

I know you want to do it yourself, but if you want to achieve either of these colors, your best bet would be to go to a salon. Why? Because you will most likely disappoint yourself. I know. I been there, done that in my 15+ years of coloring my hair.
Bleaching and highlighting is very tricky work to do on your own, but not impossible by any stretch.

Gisele Bundchen's hair:
Highlights. A fair amount of them, but don't get crazy and go overboard.
Here is an article that may help you do it:

Pamela Anderson's hair:
You are going to have to bleach your hair to a lighter shade than the color you wish to achieve, then dye it your desired color. This is very, extremely damaging to your hair!

I would STRONGLY advise you have this shade professionally done.
Why? Because when you bleach your hair, if you mess up and leave it in too long, you run the risk of killing the root and your hair falling out.
Also, you run the risk of your hair getting a green tinge to it.
These things don't always happen, but they DO happen from time to time, so it is a big risk to see if you are that 1 out of 100.

Good luck! :)
