LM answered Sunday June 24 2007, 8:26 pm: In my opinion, you're staying true to yourself when you do new things in your life, but not things that contradict the things you believe in.
Like, you could watch a different genre of movie, hang out with new people, or eat a new food; that's fine. You're just expanding your horizons & gaining life experiences.
But if you're doing drugs or drinking, having sex before marriage, or anything else you absolutely swore to yourself you'd never do, you're NOT true to yourself anymore, and you're letting other people change you for the worse.
