how long can you leave a tampon in for?

Most tampons are allowed to be left in for 4-8 hours. I'd say to change it every 4-6 because TSS (toxic shock syndrome) is more common among young girls and teens.

It's usually 4-8 hours. I'd say around 6 hours would be good. Also, you can look on the box.
