There's this quote - "A girl should be so hidden in God that a boy has to search God to find her"
I believe in it, and I believe that if a boy has had to search God to find a girl, and while doing that - found God too, that they are meant to be, that God has a plan for the two of you.
Now the question is: how do you "hide in God" ?
How does a guy search God to find me? It doesn't really make sense to me.

by "hiding in God" i think that this person means being very, very Godly and trusting in the Lord with ALL of your heart. Not denying anything He tells you, etc. And also not appearing slutty and desperate, as if your only purpose in life was to be "sexy" to try to attract men. Because that's not what God wants for us.
And if a boy had to "search God" to find you, it would mean that he had prayed for a Godly woman to marry, and trusted that the Lord would send you to him.
So, to sum it up- this quote is telling you to trust in God for finding a husband, because He has chosen someone for you, and therefore you don't need to worry about relationships/marriage. Just place your trust in God for these things- and they will happen the right way!
Also- I just wanted to tell you about a little miracle that happened to me that's related to this- this past september I prayed EXTREMELY hard that God would send me a boyfriend, and that night at my acting class, this perfect boy(exactly what I wanted) told me I was pretty and got my number and asked me out. All that night! And I firmly believe that God intended us to have a future!
We are even planning on getting married once I'm in college.

I believe this quote, like most quotes, was created to be left up to individual interpretation. To me, the quote means that you should abide by God and follow him, so that any boy who is interested in discovering you will also discover more about God.
For example, if you were dating a boy, and you were considering the idea of having sex with him, I think this quote would serve as a reminder to run away from temptation as fast as you can back into the safety of God's will. According to the Bible, God has a plan for you, and he is against premarital sexual activity. Therefore, when the boy tries to find you, he will also find God.
By hiding in God, you will have to tell the boy about God and about your beliefs in order to explain to him why you can't give in to your sexual desires. In doing so, you will be exposing him to God and to God's plan for his people. It is important to God that you spread his word to as many people as possible. So when you "hide in God," you become an advertisement (of sorts) for him. [ soundslikepink's advice column | Ask soundslikepink A Question ]
