Jazz

Question Posted Friday June 22 2007, 1:05 am

What are some good jazz songs that would be fun to sing too? I have this Audition and I wanted to sing a fun upbeat jazz song for it. Any Ideas?

How about 'All that Jazz' from Chicago? I've included a web site with the words.

Good luck with the audition.

"it don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing" is probably a really good one. not sure who it's by, but basically every female singer ever has done it. also, "you'd be so nice to come home to" is one of my favorites as well. it's not as upbeat as the first one, but it's still really catchy.

EDIT: i didn't think of this one before, but "love" by nat king cole is one that everybody knows and can sing along to.

I would definitely look into Ella Fitzgerald or Billie Holiday...Frank Sinatra would also be really good or Rosemary Clooney
