SAT or ACT scores are very important, extra-curriculars, and anything else that makes you a distinctive candidate. I know this may sound old, but colleges look for someone who is well-rounded, and therefore sometimes accept people with lower gpas because they have a certain something that they feel will contribute to their college. So do research and look for a place you'll like, and don't worry about your GPA cause it is very good. =]
uisforukelele answered Thursday June 21 2007, 4:45 pm: collegeboard.com is going to be your best bet. they have lots of information about college. if your sat/act scores are as good as your gpa, you will be able to get into most colleges (like state schools, depending on where you want to go). superstarblue89 answered Thursday June 21 2007, 4:24 pm: assuming your SAT or ACT scores are good with a 3.7 GPA you can get into just about any college you want to...I would definitely suggest checking out Collegeboard.com or if you have some ideas of colleges you want to go to check out their websites...they usually have application requirements or student requirements which lists a recommended GPA [ superstarblue89's advice column | Ask superstarblue89 A Question ]
orphans answered Thursday June 21 2007, 3:52 pm: a 3.7 is really good. You can get in almost anywhere assuming your SAT scores are decent. If you go to collegeboard.com you can search many colleges and read about what they require and what it take to get in. It also gives you information on activities that go on at that school, tuition costs, stuff like that. [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]
