leg lifts work your abs, bicycling will work your legs and bench-pressing works your arms.

Leg lifts will tone your abs because you're mainly using your abdominal muscles to do them.

Bicycling will also tone your abs but it mainly burns fat all over your body because it is cardio

Bench pressing will just tone your chest and your triceps.

when you do leg lifts, it not only tones your legs, but if your doing them right (just little butterfly kicks) it will also tone your ab muscles. Why this is i'm not sure, but i can definatly feel strain in my stomach when i'm doing leg lifts.
