Michele answered Thursday June 21 2007, 8:49 am: If you have the time and the money and the energy, I am sure you can take two majors. They may discourage you, because they may think you will be taking on too much work. It is important for you to get good grades in the subjects you do take, so don't overwhelm yourself. As far as taking other courses....that will depend on what kind of degree you want to have when you graduate. If this is strictly and art school, at which you will gain a lot of knowledge in your chosen art field, but you won't have a "degree" when you graduate, just a certificate, then you won't have to take courses like math, english, science etc. But if it is a certified institutions and people graduate with BS or BA degrees, then you will have to take those courses also. Maybe not math and science, but definitly english and history. You will get specific answers to these questions when you talk with your college counselor.
