Hey everyone. My friend and I bought tampons for the first time yesterday (I'm laughing if your reading this now rae) and I just wanted to know if you guys think 13 is too young. My mom and I argued a little over it but I won, so I just wanted to make sure I was fair in my argument. Thanks a bunch ♥
lovelymanders answered Wednesday June 20 2007, 2:39 pm: I'm 13 and I use tampons. As long as you know how to but them on correctly and make sure you know what your doing you should be fine. Tampons are actually a great thing and I really don't think there uncomfurtable eather. [ lovelymanders's advice column | Ask lovelymanders A Question ]
hotie91292 answered Wednesday June 20 2007, 1:39 pm: its fine to use tampons as soon as you start. i started right before my 12th birthday, and use tampons a few months later. just make sure you use a new one every few hours. its better to use a pad when you sleep, because you usually sleep 8+ hours. you could ask your mom to let you use one pack(get a good brand) and if you like them, then keep using tham, and tell her you will stop if you dont like it. whoa i had my period when i was 13 & i definitely used tampons. as long as you are careful not to leave them in too long [TSS] then it's perfectly fine. if you have your period, you're not too young to use tampons. you were fair in your arugmentt [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]
xWACKYJACKIEx answered Wednesday June 20 2007, 1:22 pm: I am 13, and I use them. No, its not too young at all.
Its all in preference, and responsibilitys. [ as in changing them, and not leaving the wrappers everywhere, and things like that ] [ xWACKYJACKIEx's advice column | Ask xWACKYJACKIEx A Question ]
