I'd sit down and talk to her about it. And let her know by not telling the family about him, she's pushing you both away. I think that might make her think I'm sure your more important to her then stressing out over a boyfriend meeting the family! [ kaydence's advice column | Ask kaydence A Question ]

Do you really think your family would object to him? If you really think they would interfere with the two of you, tell your bf and let him know its better not to meet the family because then they might get in the way of you and him. cheer him up and i bet with a little time he will get to meet your family. for now i would have a talk with your mom and ask her why she thinks its a bad idea for your bf to meet the family. i know everyone really wants their families to get along with each other..but ive been with my bf for over a year and my family hardly talks to his family. it hurts because i wish they were close enough so our mothers could go out shopping together or our dads could go golfing or something together..but it will never be like that for us.
hope it works out with you guys though! [ icey0990's advice column | Ask icey0990 A Question ]
