does my bff still have feelings for my bf
ive liked my bff's boyfrined named ryan (ex bf now) since before she ever knew him and i just never old her. so when she started to go out with him i started to like someone else but still kinda like him so after they broke up i thought it'd be okay to date him because she said she didnt care if i did she just didnt want to see me get hurt like i was in the past and like she was in the past but i told her i wouldnt get hurt but that didnt convince her so i said that i didnt actually like him and that i was only preteneding to go out with him even though thats not true. so now since then shes had 3 different boyfriends and says that she hates ryan, but she had called him and asked him to come swimming with her and then she asked him if he still liked her. he said he wasnt going to come swimming with her and no he didnt like her and i think she knew that was his answer anyway but i guess she was hoping for a different one...but i dont know because she keeps saying how much she hates him but then why would she ask him out? She knows hes dateing me but why would she ask?

She seems like she has a problem with it. Even though she says she hates him, he's still her ex & there's probably some feelings there. Talk to her about it. He is your boyfriend now & his feelings matter too. It would be a good idea to talk to both of them. She probably asked because there are some feelings there or she wanted to get back at you for dating an ex. Either way, she's not being a very great friend & you guys should talk things out.

more than likely she is just trying to be a somewhat good friend by saying she doesnt like him and that you could go out with him. but her saying she didnt want to see you get hurt could mean 2 different thinks. One being she really doesnt want to see you get hurt. or two being that she didnt want you to go out with him bc she still has feelings for him. most of the time when someone says how much they hate someone it really means they like them and are trying to convince themselves that they dont. try talking to her about it and ask her why she is doing this.
