Photo Shop

Question Posted Monday June 18 2007, 11:34 am

My friend has Photo shop, and I really liked it.

Is the Free download a gimic? Or is it really free?

How long do you have it for, and does it screw up your computer at all?

Thanks.

Only download the free trial off of the website. The trial lasts for 30-45 days (it changes, I'm not sure of the most current time limit). It's deffinitely worth it! However, you only have it for that amount of time. It doesn't mess anything up on your comp, just make sure you have enough space because the file is rather large. It's something you may want to look into purchasing after you've used it, though it's pretty pricey.

It's a free trial, after 30 days(or 14, I can't remember) it stops working. It won't mess up your computer. I recommend the GIMP, which is a free alternative to Photoshop:

or GIMPshop, if you're already familiar with Photoshop's interface:

The GIMP can do everything Photoshop can, though it's sometimes more difficult.

be careful where you download the free one. make sure its from a trusted site and they usually only stay for about 2 weeks. the free one doesnt have everything on it either just the basics.

hope this helps!
