I'm going to a big dance for kind of the first time this weekend and I'm nervous. Are guys going to expect me to grind with them? I'm not even sure I know HOW to grind! I know friends there, but they'll also have their own friends to hang out with. So basically I'm just asking for what to expect- and maybe some tips. Thanks!

its hard to know what to expect..but i went to my first big dance this year (homecoming) and i was worried too.

basically, you're going to dance/grind with any guy..sometimes ones you don't even know lol...
and i guess just move your hips around. dont worry there is no right or wrong way.

for me, i didnt hang out with all of my friends the whole time. everybody was all over the place. one thing to remember is..its one night that you want to remember so dont do anything you'll later regret but also have fun and dont worry about the drama..have fun!

i go to a vocational/technical school, i live in massachusetts, but anyways i hate the school and i want to go to some high school any high school besides my town high school. i was wondering what school im eligible to go to? but will it matter if i dont live near the high school? and if this helps at all i live in "billerica". i've talked about it to my parents, well maybe just my mom and she says its fine if i transfer out.

usually schools are precautious if you dont live in their school district but every school is different. i'd suggest you talk to the school about it..thats the best way to find out

do you know how the white mark on the fingernail is caused by? i don't know how i got it or how it even happened to be on my finger nail, but as time pass, it goes up to the top of the nail,

it means you arent getting enough calcium and zinc.

sometimes it means you have a fungul infection but its highly unlikely.

okays, so i have a boyfriend, and we've been together for about 4 months now. okay, i'm his LONGEST relationship, so i'd rather say he's still learning. we were at school today, and he was walking me home. and one of my close friend's just met him after i introduced her to him. and she was only with us for about 10 minutes, and she told me that he doesn't treat me right. I must be really slow, because i don't see that yet. So i'm waiting to see if he does or not. is it natural that you don't see if your boyfriend/girlfriend doesn't treat you right? i noticed earlier, but i don't know now... i can't see it anymore. >.

sometimes you dont see it because sometimes you like someone soo much and you think they are just the greatest person ever and would never do that. i guess just pay attention and talk to somebody like a friend or sister ect. about it and have them see the way he treats you then make your decision.

Ok, so i have a problem with girls when it comes to hooking up. Sure i can talk to girl all night, say at a party. I have no problem with talking and flirting, but i can never seem to take the next step and hook up. what do i do

maybe you have a hard time taking the next step because you dont have strong enough feelings for that girl..
but if you think you really like them then just calm down because if they were talking and flirting with you chances are they probably like you too...
just keep flirting and talking and hinting to them that you like them and when the moments right just take the step!

its normal. your period wont come right on schedule every single time..if its really late, and its always on schedule then it wouldnt hurt to go to the doctor but i'd say you're fine.

I heard from a friend that a really easy way to lose some weight is to have a glass of water with a tablespoon of apply cider vinegar in it every day and you could lose 5 pounds every week if you continue this along with normal excersize. My guess is that the acidity in the vinegar would speed up yoru metabolism or something like that. Is this true?

1. illegal immigrants are illegal for a reason. they aren't u.s. citizens. thats a bigg deal. that means they dont pay taxes or anything. so basically, your paying for them to live here. i mean, yes i feel bad for them, but they are giving their work to us instead of to their country. if they lived in their country instead of ours then they would be paying their government thus making their country wealthier so their condidtions wouldnt be so bad.


2. you need permission to leave cuba because of Castro. its hes rules and whatever he says goes, thats the bottom line. the u.s has no say in it. we dont support Castro's beliefs therefore, we dont trade with them unlike how we trade with China. China isnt ruled by a dictator like cuba is and we support them. research it if you really want to know more about it.


3. it wont last. shes just saying that. shes a person just like i am so why does she get special treatment while if i was driving under the influence with a suspended licence or whatever, i would be put it jail. its just my opinion though.

i was tanning by the pool on memorial day weekend (wearing spf 15) and i got a tiny little burn right under my halter top, like right around my rib cage. since it was such a tiny burn and wasn't even peeling i didn't put any aloe vera on it. well it is like a month later and the burn has turned this brown color and i am a little concerned. i'm sort of tan right now but the burn (or should i say brown line) is darker than my tan. did i get a sun burn scar or something? is it something serious? when will it go away? what is this called?

this happened to me around my suit top. its just the part thats never gotten a tan before. it gets darker because its like the first time its ever gotten sun before. its nothing serious and it will fade away.

I'm a teenage girl. My periods have been regular for a number of years, and I get THE WORST PMS EVER! Like I'll have it for 1 and a half-3 weeks of the month, and my symptoms are as follows:

I get really bad, intense cravings for unhealthy food. Even when I'm full, my body won't let me stop eating. I binge uncontrollably. I'm always pissed about some random thing. I'm moody as heck. I sometimes feel bloated(like air in your stomach). I gain 2-10 pounds. I have no energy. I get horrible headaches. I get horrible vaginal cramps. I'm extremely irritable.


what can i do to reduce the severity/length of my pms?

(i already exercise and eat right)


any advice is appreciated.

birth control will help "tone down" your pms. i'd suggest talking to your doctor about it.

I a horrible at getting people presents. But, my boyfriends birthday is coming up and I want to get him something he will for sure like. I have a really bad posture. My mom says that my shoulder are rolled over so my shoulder blades stick out. i try so hard to keep a good posture so my back is straight, but i'm always slumping over.

How do i fix this?

like everyone said practice! in ballet to improve our posture we used duck tape and made a big X on our back from shoulder to hip. that way whenever your shoulders are rolled over the tape is really uncomfortable. it sounds really wierd but in a week my posture improved soo much!

if he is your best friend, then im sure he wouldnt mind talking about it. some people feel its better for the to tell someone. its not being nosy or anything because you want to know because you care about him. i'd just be like hey what happened to you? and explain to him that you want to know but you dont want to come off as being nosy or anything.

I was wondering about the birth control YAZ. I really do not want to gain weight and I heard on this pill you don't but you have extremely bad mood swings. Is this true? Also is there any other pill where you don't gain weight, I know that it is different for everyone.

its hard to say for sure if your going to gain weight or not from it. i'd suggest talking to your doctor about it. they will be able to find the best kind for you

Here's my issue... I work at Subway and this guy in his mid-twenties came in. After making his sub he wanted dressing on it. So I put some on. then he started literally YELLING saying and I quote " think you put enough vinegar on that". "your so childish" "why don't you just put it in a bowl!"
he yelled it at me rudely. I almost started crying at the moment. I offered him a new sub and no charge he just denied and kept saying those remarks to me. I can't get what he said out of my head. it really hurt my feelings. and the thing is, that I didn't even put a lot of dressing on his sub.He really over-reacted..I'm just upset, over nothing I know.But he crossed the line of resepct. And any tips on how to forget about it. thanks. =(

just forget about it! he was probably already pissed off before you did that and he just needed something more to yell about. it wasnt your fault at all. just laugh it off..i mean hes getting upset over DRESSING!! it sounds stupid when you think about it like that.
