Question Posted Thursday June 21 2007, 11:18 pm

Here's my issue... I work at Subway and this guy in his mid-twenties came in. After making his sub he wanted dressing on it. So I put some on. then he started literally YELLING saying and I quote " think you put enough vinegar on that". "your so childish" "why don't you just put it in a bowl!"
he yelled it at me rudely. I almost started crying at the moment. I offered him a new sub and no charge he just denied and kept saying those remarks to me. I can't get what he said out of my head. it really hurt my feelings. and the thing is, that I didn't even put a lot of dressing on his sub.He really over-reacted..I'm just upset, over nothing I know. But he crossed the line of resepct. And any tips on how to forget about it. thanks. =(

hey
my dad owns a subway and i work there at times and i think the thing is, is that the customer comes in with a pissy mood against you already. you get a good one or a bad one. my dad has been dealing with this for a little over 10 years and i think by now he just lets it blow over his shoulder. sont take what they say seriously. if they dont like the sub its their problem.

just ignore them basically lol

hope i helped

Don't worry. This kind of thing can happen anywhere. On my first day of work a customer was wicked mean to me and I almost cried too. Just think of the nice customer's you've had and try not to get that one again.

I'm sure he was just having a bad day and taking it out on you, seeing as he knew you wouldn't fight back. Don't take it personally and just remember to focus on any compliments you've gotten about your work or accomplishments you've made with it. :]

You'll forget soon enough. I basically forgot about my rude customer until I read this. =P

just forget about it! he was probably already pissed off before you did that and he just needed something more to yell about. it wasnt your fault at all. just laugh it off..i mean hes getting upset over DRESSING!! it sounds stupid when you think about it like that.

hope this helps!
