Subliminal techniques in movies
I heard somewhere that Marilyn Manson was planning on using some subliminal techniques in his upcoming movie.Could someone give me a website or something that explains what effect this has on people (or explain yourself,if you can),and point me to some movies that have already done it?

Some of my friends did Subliminal Stuff for science fair one year. I dont know much about it but it looks like people have got it covered, but you'd be surprised about what movies use them.
In the first Lion King (I believe) the scene where one of the lions is on the cliff and theres like dandelion seeds blowing around, well if you pause it the seeds spell out "Sex"
Then in Aladdin, there is a part where when the magic carpet talks or whatever, if you rewind what he says it says: "Good little children take off your clothes" Or something like that.
It sounds pretty insane but its true!

Some subliminal techniques have an effect, but I doubt that anything Marilyn Manson does will be anything other than a publicity stunt.
Subliminal messages will sometimes make you have an urge to do something. They'll never force you to do anything, or do anything you wouldn't do normally. A subliminal message to "scratch your head" almost always works, a message to "worship Satan" has probably never worked. Subliminal techniques that work are text that scrolls across a screen fast(but slow enough you can read it), and quiet audio. Backwards speech or text will never work, since you can't hear/read it. I can explain what they are. I can't direct you to a website, but I think you'll be able to find one. Subliminal techniques have been used for years. They were common on television, but I think they were banned. When you look at movie or TV show there are lots of "frames" thousands of them, and they go by so fast, that you don't see them as frames, you see them as a moving picture. Imbedded in say a show about monsters or cars or whatever, will be one frame that shows a sparkling cold glass of coke. You don't see it, but your brain sees it. The image did go from your eyes to your brain. And what happens to you, is suddenly, you are thirsty for a soda.
I can't image what images Marily Manson may put in his movie. You may know better than I. I don't think they will allow him to put suggestions that people kill someone, or take drugs. It might be something as simple as Go BUY MY CD.
Which means that he got the best of you. It has been proven. That if he did this, a percentage of all those people who see the movie and the image, will actually go and buy his CD.
So that's it in a nutshell.
