Easy and delicious fingerfoods.

Question Posted Friday June 15 2007, 11:32 am

Does anybody know some rally quick and extremely easy and tasty recipes for fingerfoods? It's a friends birthday and we're thinking of going bowling later, and I'm going to have a cake, a bowl of chocolate dipped pretzels and such, but then I need a plate of tasty fingerfoods. Got any recipes? I'm looking for things such as pigs in blankets and stuff in that category. Thanks!

Asparagus wrapped in bacon and grilled with a squeeze of either lemon or lime juice. Grill them over an open flame.

Once you get the hang of grilling, they go quickly.

This Nacho Dip is really easy to make and is always a hit when I have parties...

You'll need...

Tortilla chips (Tostitos Gold work great because they are thicker for dipping)
Salsa (16 oz is usually plenty)
Cream Cheese (8oz or 12oz depending on # of people)
Shredded mozzarella cheese
Vegetables (green and red peppers, red onion work best)

1. Let the cream cheese soften a bit and then spread it out on a large tray or plate

2. Cover the cream cheese with a layer of salsa

3. Cover with shredded cheese

4. Cut up veggies into small cubes and sprinkle over the top

5. Use chips to pick up layers and enjoy!

The quantities for everything should really just be to your taste. If you like lots of cheese, add more. Don't like spicy veggies? Just put them on one side of the plate or make two plates.
