late period

Okay im 14/F. Ive only gotton my period one time. that was 5 months ago in December. I know that when you first get it that it takes a while to become regular but this long? is this normal?

your period starts out really screwy.
the time between the first and second one is soemtimes really long.
so you have nothing to worry about.
also,
are you really thin?
do you not eat a lot?
those can attribute to it, too.
but just because your body is conserving energy :]

it is kind of normal it just about your hormones let it for a little while longer if its still like that tell your mum and you can have yourself checked by a doctor don't worry honey it wont be embarassing

If you are very thin or exercise a lot and are very active you can stop having your period. When I ran cross country in high school I didn't have my period for months.

hey,

Well give it a year because people are different.
no one knows when their's is going to come when they first start. For some its a week for other's its a year. So don't panic but stress can stop it from coming somtimes.

Just let it be and wait until it comes back.

If it doesn't then talk to your mum about it because they went through it too, and more often than not you have the same pattern as your mum does.
