Question Posted Wednesday June 6 2007, 5:35 pm

any ways, i've lost my t-mobile razor. i can't go through the summer without a cell phone. and i deemed it lost and they said i have 30 days to find it or else it will be a $200 cancellation fee.

they said something about a sim card not being there... does any one have ANY idea of what i could do?

Well, if your SIM is gone, then someone found your phone and replaced it with their own SIM.

Best bet? Get a new phone with a new SIM. You will have to pay for the phone. Yah, I know, that sucks, but it's cheaper than paying off the contract with the phone company.

Go into your local T-Mobile store, and tell them what is going on and what you need to do. They will set you up with a new phone. I would advise getting a low priced model, just in case your Razor happens to show back up.

Yikes, yeah no cell phone is definitely an issue nowadays. I would suggest going & talking to a T-Mobile representative that's local. It's better to do it in person rather on the phone/online. Your sim card must not be in your phone, because they are able to detect if it is or not. Basically that means it either fell out somehow or someone else has it & took the sim card out of it. Try talking to someone who works for T-Mobile & explain your situation. There should be something you guys can work out. If not, you might want to get a prepaid cell phone from another company like verizon or cingular. Even though you will have to pay for a new phone, you'd have to pay the $200 anyway for canceling. That is really stupid that it's a fee, so talk to them about it.

-hope that helped!♥
