all over the floor! he's not new, he's 5, and we've had him since he was a little puppy and he never used to do this. he's a little on the heavy side......anyone have any idea why he's randomly doing this? How can i make him stop? Thanks.
Has there been any reason you have been busier than normal and haven't been able to give him the usual amount of attention? That could cause things like this.
Is there any reason he hasn't been able to spend as much time as he used to outdoors? Not meaning you don't let him out to do his dogly duties, but maybe he isn't having enough run around time outdoors due to a busy schedule?
Not saying you are neglectful at all. Just saying that a change of schedule, or things being out of the normal realms of what he is used to can cause him to do this.
Someone new move into your home? Someone who has been there for as long as he can recall move out?
You may want to consider calling your vet about this to be on the safe side. He shouldn't just start going potty in the house; there is some reason he is doing it. [ Brandi_S's advice column | Ask Brandi_S A Question ]
