i dont understand. is limewire illegal?
like lets say i downloaded it. and i downloaded new songs onto my computer from it. is that illegal?

well, downloading limewire isn't illegal but downloading a song USING limewire is. but you know what, i've had limewire for like two years, and nothing has ever happened. actually, it's only illegal if you share files, cause then if people download a song / file from YOU, you are responsible for giving it to them. so just don't share files. otherwise, it's perfectly fine! there are probaby like, a few million people in the world that have limewire. if it was illegal, it would be 'banned' by now. no worries.

It's kind of gay, actually, the policy. It's not illegal to actually have limewire, but downloading any content is, because it would otherwise cost something on any other program, lol.
I'd just say not to try to go selling burned CDs or anything, and I think you'll be fine just using it. :)
