It's a disorder that you develop without trying, planning, etc. You can't declare yourself anorexic--most people who are truly anorexic don't recognize it as a disorder.
What happened is your stomach has shrunk. Overweight people can sit there & eat huge portions in one sitting, because their stomachs are more expanded. That's why it's so hard to lose weight--your stomach isn't full, so you eat until it is, which expands it. Since you started eating smaller portions, your stomach began shrinking. So now you get full quicker than usual.
It's not like you're sitting there forcing yourself to stop eating because you're so afraid of being overweight. You just get full. Explain that to your mom and friends.

Listen to your mom, 120 is a good weight. If anything, go to 115. Do not go to 110.
Also, eat 3 meals and a day and exercise. Eating right and exercising will help your metabolism which will prevent you from getting too big. If you still refuse to eat 3 meals a day but happen to exercise, you'll screw up your metabolism. I know it doesn't sound logical, but eating right(more) can help you reach a healthy weight. My friend had anorexia. I did everything I could to help her and she died 4 months ago. I still blame myself for not trying harder to support her.
You have a boyfriend and a best friend who obviously love you to be saying something to you about this.
Listen to them before this habit controls your life forever.
There are plenty of other ways of staying healthy and loosing weight. Like eating fruits and working out 3 times a week. Become a health fitness freak instead of just bones!
XSugarPieX77 answered Monday June 4 2007, 10:05 pm: If you consider yourself overweight, or fat, and always worry about your weight, you could be on the verge of maybe having anorexia. In this case, I think your just not eating properly. There are other ways to loose weight than not eating a lot. Deffinitly try and eat breakfast lunch, and dinner, even if its a small helping. You throw up your food? On purpose or not? These things you have to question. I suggest seeing a nutritionist and get a final opinion from them. Just make sure you try and eat healthy, veggies, fruits, etc. Hope I helped! Happy Summer!
