Tomorrow I am going on a school field trip with the whole middle school. It is a fun place with pools, lake, fields, rock walls, et cetera. But I think I am getting my period so I don't know what to do. I'm not going swimming [I didn't want to.]Ireally sucks. I'm bringing pads. Is there anything else I can do? I am not a tampon person. Also, on Thursday we are going to a theme park, should I be okay on a log flume, rapid ride, and other water rides?
Thanks in advance!

I wore a pad on my bathing suit bottoms and than shorts ( cause i dont like my upper legs much anyways ) . You dont bleed in the water anyways so you should be fine. Notice how in the shower you dont like bleed like you usually would ? I know your not a tampon person but its soo much easier! I cant use them , because im not heavy enough to get one up there (sorry to be gross) but really there great (so ive heard ). good luck! [ xeey99's advice column | Ask xeey99 A Question ]
LM answered Monday June 4 2007, 6:20 pm: You should be okay on the log rides on Thursday. Just don't wear white pants [a bad idea when you have your period OR are going on water rides, regardless] and you should be fine. Go to the bathroom afterwards and make sure the adhesive didn't get wet or anything [could get uncomfortable/embarrassing later on] but you should be ok.

find a playground and play a sport. Soccer, basketball, kickball, softball, volleyball, etc. etc. etc.
Just because you have your period doesn't mean you can't play around and have fun.
as for the theme park, wellll I don't really think you should go on the water rides cuz there's a chance your pad can leak. You can still go on them, but as long as your bottoms don't get wet. If it's just your shirt and hair that gets wet, then thats ok
