whore?

Question Posted Sunday June 3 2007, 9:16 pm

me and my best friend started a friends with benefits relationship about a month before he broke up with his girlfriend, which i felt bad about but we have this very strong sexual attraction that has lasted for years and we can't break the habbit. ok so thats bad enough that he cheated but are people who are involved in friends with benefits relationships considered whores? just because we can screw with 'just a friend'. it's not like i'd screw anyone, i trust my best friend very much. would you think i was a whore?

I don't agree with the friends with benefit thing because it can lead to girls being hurt emotionally.
You are basically having sex with someone who doesn't care enough about you to make you his girlfriend. Typical male getting what he wants and
girl hoping to make it something more. Please stop
allowing yourself to be used.

However, no I don't think you would be considered a whore. The definition of a whore is a prostitute.
Someone who gets paid. Someone with multiple partners. So no, you are not a whore. :)

I'm sorry, but yes; screwing around with someone who you're not in an exclusive relationship with is basically being a whore. Don't be fooled; "friends with benefits" is just a nice-sounding term people have made up to make acting like a slut not seem so bad. I know a lot of people do it, but that doesn't mean it's a good thing to do.

In a way, I do consider that a little whorish. Now, don't get me wrong here. I'm not saying that you are a whore, but I'm just wondering why you wouldn't be able just to have a relationship with him. You two obviously have a sexual attraction, and like you said you trust him, why not turn it into something more meaningful? I'm sure that if he values your friendship and opinions [not to mention your reputation] he will agree.

I hope that I helped.

No, I'd think you were dumb.

Usually, the girl [sometimes the guy] falls for the guy [girl] & she doesn't feel the same causing heartbreak. Friends with benefits nonetheless is also a booty call. SO, not only is he getting ass, but not giving any emotion into it, and you're basically not good enough to be his girlfriend. Friends with benefits is boyfriend/girlfriend without the titles.

Just an opinion.

Nope, not at all.
We all need sex & since he's your best friend, I'm sure you love and trust him anyway, even if not enough for a relationship.
You're a whore when you sleep around with random people.
So no, I wouldn't consider you a whore.
