ok where I wrote a (1) is the two options I was talking about.. You can either adjust the lever of security or choose the standard, recommended level of security.
Where I wrote a (2) are the "pictures" I spoke of, you can either click Internet, Local Intranet, "Trusted" Locations, or "Websites you don't trust" .
So you click on one of those four and then you click on one of the two options of security level below. But where are the buttons you were talking about... ? I tried first clickin "local intranet" and then "standard level" cause I thought that would be the same thing as "default level" but that didn't change anything. And then I did the same with the Safe and Unsafe zones, but it still didn't work?
Does this mean the problem is with the router and that I need to get proffessional help?
Yes, standard level is the same as default level. Nothing will appear to happen when you click it, but the settings are changed. Click each of the pictures and press "standard level" for each(in the end you click "standard level" 4 times, once for each picture). Then go to to the "advanced", and click(what will probably be) "standard level", near the bottom. [ theymos's advice column | Ask theymos A Question ]
