there is nothing gross about your question it is good to ask and be very concerned about your health at a very young age have your mom or another close adult take you to the doctor to make sureit could just be a swollen gland or lymph node good luck ]
Hey.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer when I was 12. I was pretty flat myself. But that is that. It is possable to get it at your age.
I personally don't think you do. My twin sister, gets lumps all the time, and its nothing but her growing. Most of the time when you are growing, it comes out as a lump, but it will go down after a while.
If you are really worried about it then just talk to your mom, but I don't think you have anything to worry about. ]
I remember when I was a little younger than you, I found a lump in my breast when I first started developing. It wasn't cancer. Sometimes we get lumpy areas of tissue in our breasts as we grow. Keep an eye on it and see if it changes or moves. A tumor is HARD and STATIONARY...it won't move at all.
If you're worried about it, definitely tell your mother and make an appointment with a doctor to check it out. It's probably nothing, especially at your age, but it won't hurt to make sure. ]
If you ever, ever, find a lump or something unnatural about your body, go and get it checked out immediatley. I don't really know about the development of teenage girls that much, but I do know that in girls and sometimes in guys, during puberty, will develope lumps in thier nipples. I had it happen to me, so I asked my doctor what, this thing on my chest is all about. Even though it's kinda embarrassing, you should tell an adult, your mom, dad, aunt, grandma, anyone. They might offer better advice than I can ever give. My sister developed ovarian cancer at the age of 14, different ages = different cancers. I would get it checked out, and I wouldn't stress over it too much. Hope this helps.:) ]
