i dont know anymore

hi, well latley ive been feeling really down about myself. i mean i have amzing friends and i do a lot just that nothing feels like its going right. this isnt the first time either. im just cought in between a hole bunch of stuff and i dont know what to do about any of it. im confused and so scared about what people will think of me if i told people about what im going through. i just need someone to go to that i can look to for advice. i just dont know how i can come forward with my problem just yet. so what should i do ?

Everyone has problems. it is up to you whether or whether not you want to share your problems with someone. Just remember this, people who want to give advice (like the people on this website) want to help those with their problems. so don't be afraid to talk about your problems, no matter who you talk to, they will do the best they can to help you get through your problem and they will not judge you.

Pretty much everyone feels this at some point in their life, usually more then once. It's not uncommon to feel like there's somthing you're going through that you can't tell anyone else because, even if you did tell them, they might not understand because they're not going through the same thing. I've been through this many many many times and here are some things that helped me:

- I got a journal. I know, I know, it sounds like something a therapist would recommend. But in all honesty, it really helps a LOT. Just make sure you keep it safe from other people :)

- I chose my most understanding friend and started telling her what was going on with me. At first, it was kinda weird since I'd kept it all bottled up for so long, but eventually I got to the point where we'd just talk for hours and hours about life. And it just felt good to have someone there to listen to my problems and help me out

- I expressed all my feelings through my art. This may not be your kind of thing, but I've been drawing and painting since I was a kid and it gives me a sense of contentment when I draw or paint. Like I said, it may not be your thing, but maybe there are other ways to express your feelings for you :)

Also, if your problem is serious enough to need some proffesional help, please dont hesitate to go see a therapist or doctor. If you keep things bottled up too long, it could lead to some mental issues that are a real pain to deal with later on :/ hope I helped!!!

hey you can be buddies with me :) i'm feeling the exact way. i've got A LOT on my mind and i really need to vent to someone. but the thing is, i dont want to vent to any of my friends because i'm scared of what they might think of me if i tell them. i cant talk to my parents because i'm scared of confronting them... so looks like we are both stuck.
