taller?

Question Posted Sunday May 27 2007, 6:50 pm

Hi, I'm 15/f. And I'm 4'11. I wanna to know things I can eat, drink, or do to get taller.
By the end of this summer, I want to grow at least 3 inches. Please, I really want to get a bit taller.

Ps: Please don't tell me "Just eat a balanced diet" or as to why I wouldn't be able to grow. Just answer if you know what I can do.

Drink Lots of milk!
my cousin stopped drinking pop and drank milk all the time and she grew an inch in a month. my other cousin drinks like a gallon a day and is 6'5" and is 16 i think.
I don't know if you will get the same results, but it will probably help!

Take a vitamin supplement and drink milk. Try to stay away from coffee and soda. It hasn't really been proven that they stunt your growth, but they are unhealthy for you anyways. Get a good amount of protein, specificially lean meats such as turkey and chicken. Make sure you are getting enough. If you don't like meat, try beans or nuts for protein.

You can also stretch every day. Stretching your legs, or exercising might help. Though, you probably won't gain 3 inches over one summer. You could grow about an inch to an inch and a half. Mostly, it's just up to your genes. (Like, if your mom and dad are short.)

I agree with taking vitamins. You can't really do much else to MAKE yourself get taller, though.
You're low on your age, on the height. You could go to the doctor for some x rays (that's what I had to do) and if they approve it, you can get some shots to possibly help your endocrine system, which could help you get taller.

Check it out with your doctor. :)

It may just be genetic, though, that you're short.

Embrace your height, I know I do, haha.

My dad always says to take a vitamin every day because it gives you nutrients and stuff to help you grow.
