i have verizon wireless, but can parents see what youre texting if they want to? like is it on record and if they call verizon can they see all your texts even after you delete them?

no they cant see your text messages unless they get this special program and they can see your texts but other than that no they cant not even on your phone bill only calls,

no. your parents can't see what exactly you're texting unless you show them. on your bill, it simply lists how many texts you've sent and recieved, and upon request, the numbers to whom you sent and recieved them from. (:
